Climate-Controlled vs. Non-Climate

Not sure which storage space you need? Here are a few facts and suggestions that can help you decide which is the right choice for you.

Climate-Controlled Storage is kept at a constant temperature between 68 and 78 degrees. By adjusting the temperature and humidity to these units, we can maintain the same environmental conditions all year-round. We recommend climate-controlled storage for any items you want to preserve like clothes, electronics, antiques, important papers or books, cloth furniture, wood furniture and long-term storage of items for over two months.

Non-Climate Storage is a space where the temperature and humidity are not regulated. Think of it as an extension of your garage or attic without all of the dust. We seal the floors as a moisture barrier but we recommend using Damp Rid or a similar product to reduce humidity levels. We also recommend that you cover your items with moving pads or sheets. If you use plastic as a cover, you should keep the bottoms open to help prevent the build up of moisture.
